It is my passion to help children and adults find balance while they are struggling with life changing events and the daily pressures of their lives. I believe active listening, empathy, and the therapeutic relationship provide the foundation for positive change through counseling. Children often do not have the vocabulary to express their feelings, and need to be able to do so through other mediums such as play, art, games, and sand tray work. It would be my privilege to help you with OCD, bullying, depression, anxiety, divorce, grief and loss, anger, self-esteem, and other concerns.

I work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship and parenting issues, emotional trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. My practice takes a multifaceted-holistic approach that is grounded in Bowen Family System Theory, though I incorporate a variety of modalities including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I tailor my work in order to best fit the needs and personalities of those I counsel. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment for my clients. I also firmly believe that while therapy can be at times emotionally challenging, as much as possible it should be approached with a sense of humor and lightness.
