Monte Drenner, MS, Registered
Mental Health Counselor Intern,
Certified Addictions Professional
I have over 21 years of counseling experience helping those with various addictions and other serious mental health issues and their
families. These conditions can also be co-occurring and significantly impair an individual's life as well as those around them.
My approach to therapy is very solution focused and taps into the individual's strengths in order to help them with their weaknesses. This process occurs in an environment that is supportive yet challenging. The road to recovery is an exciting journey of renewed mental, physical, and spiritual health. May your journey to recovery begin today.
Millions of adolescents and adults have "dual disorders", meaning they have both a mental health and substance abuse disorder. Individuals with mental health conditions often abuse prescription medications, alcohol, or illicit substances to manage mania, depression, and anxiety. This practice of self-medication creates a vicious and destructive cycle.
I provide vast experience working with individuals suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders who are also abusing substances. I take a very holistic approach that helps the individual heal emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Through therapy the individual can be empowered to regain control of their life.”
