My name is Robert Layton, a native of Florida, and a graduate of the University of Central Florida. I have 10 years of experience in private practice counseling locally and over 15 years in healthcare. I enjoy the opportunity to provide counseling services to all populations in a respectful and non-judgmental manner. 

My intent is to provide a relaxed, safe, and confidential environment for my clients to explore their feelings/thoughts and attempt to resolve challenging aspects of their lives. Each client will be individually assessed based on their unique circumstances with the goal of establishing a solution-oriented approach to making the necessary changes in their daily lives. With guidance and supportive feedback, I hope to instill in my clients the skills to manage their lives better and optimize their contentment with their relationships and within themselves. 

Therapy provides a wonderful opportunity to spend a concentrated hour on oneself. With well-directed effort, one might reach new insight and become a better version of themselves. This could benefit the individual and those around them. It all starts with self-care.
