Diana Hardy, MS
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
All of us experience times of darkness and hardship in life. Psychotherapy is the process of working through those in a supportive and confidential relationship, with the hope that those challenges will be transformed into a force that will create decision, change and greater freedom.
After nearly a decade of working in educational and out-reach programs in various countries, I felt a strong calling to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in order to better assist others toward a life of thriving – not just surviving.
After graduation, I worked in a private practice in Atlanta, and an agency that served delinquent youth and their families in Boston. I am currently working in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.
My therapeutic method is to attune myself to each client, thus enabling me to create a plan tailored to cultivating individual strengths and responding to present needs. This plan will incorporate both cutting edge research and a variety of personalized treatment modalities.
My expertise is in working with teenagers, adults, couples and families who are seeking help in the following areas:
- Self-esteem and Identity
- Anxiety and Depression
- Specific Phobias
- Existential questions and Meaning-making
- Loss and Complex Grief
- Relationships
- Interpersonal Trauma, Neglect or Abuse
- Spiritual Issues
Because I lived in Spain for six years and traveled extensively in Mexico, I am able to offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
I am excited to be part of Life Skills Resource Group and to serve the Orlando area! I look forward to getting to know you. Please contact me for a free consultation.
