Cindy Fabico is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ready to facilitate your life transformation

Couples and Family Therapy, Life Coaching, and Individual Counseling

I believe you are reading this now because you are at an important turning point in your life, your marriage, your relationship.

How many times have you thought about making a change, getting some help, finding someone who will listen without judgment? Have you been frustrated in the past with therapy that is long on talk and short on practical tools that you can apply to really resolving your challenges? You will not find this in our work together. It will be action oriented and include homework to reinforce the work we do in our sessions together.

The decision to seek counseling, therapy, or life coaching either as an individual, couple or family can absolutely change your life. It is my honor to have the opportunity to listen as you share the experience of your life and we will work together to determine what is working well and you should continue, what may need to be examined and adjusted, and what may need to be discarded.

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents individually, as part of a couple, family, or group.

My work is centered in three areas: Couples and Family Therapy, Life Coaching, and Individual Counseling. In my work with couples and families I focus on repairing connection, improving communication, and reigniting passion. As a Life Coach I partner with my clients to transform their lives through values clarification, identifying self-limiting beliefs, goal structuring, and accountability. Individual Therapy with me may feel different than therapy you have experienced in other places. My person is very much a part of my therapy. I bring my greater than 50 years, 27 good years of marriage, the shock of a sudden end to that marriage, being a single person at 50+, a personal family history of depression that spans the living generations, raising two sons who are now college graduates, the death of both of my siblings, the hands on care of two close family members in the last months of their home hospice care, a multi-year struggle to find my true calling, and a belief that we are all here for a reason and that we have a gift to share which in some small way can make this a better world. What I know is that my experience and my life is not the same as yours so I do not suggest clients follow my paths. I believe that my training and my life experience come together to make me someone who can empathically attune to your experience and be with you as you share and in doing so help you work out the solution that works best for you. Some of the tools I use in my therapy include suggested books, videos, and handouts. Although these are not required, I find that clients who use the tools make more rapid progress. I feel very blessed to have found this career and I would be honored to listen as you share your journey.

My goal as your Mental Health Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; or Life Coach is for you to learn to “self-manage” so that ultimately your need for my service no longer exists and you are left with a toolkit of resources. My clients are challenged with homework and reading assignments tailored to their particular issues.

The first step can be the most difficult. I am committed to offering a bridge to begin your journey through a free phone consultation. Call our office today at 407.832-1422 so we can get started. If you prefer to email me my address is cindylsrg@gmail.com.
