Many people have asked what Life Coaching is so here is a short definition of a Life Coaches job description and what to expect from life Coaching.
Life Coach:
A life Coach is not a psychiatrist or therapist. It is someone who will help improve your personal and/or professional life when you are in a transition phase, by offering support and encouragement while suggesting new ways to achieve your goals.A life Coach is more of a partnership than anything else.It is a support system with one goal in mind: Improving your quality of life.
Life Coaching:
Life coaching enables you to identify what is currently holding you back from achieving and having, what you want in your life and gives you the awareness and tools to remove these blockages. Life Coaches develop routes to move forward and proactively make changes happen to ensure your success – whatever that means for you.
We help you figure out where you are in life and where you want to be.
In a perfect world, everyone could figure this out for him or herself, but we live in such a complicated time, that most of us need all the help we can get.
Do you need a life Coach?
Only you will know if you really need a life coach or not.the following list of questions may help you decide:
• Do you often feel overwhelmed from the daily tasks at hand?
• Do you feel there is a lack of balance between work and life?
• Do you have difficulty dealing with stressful situations?
• Do you suffer from low self esteem?
• Do you have difficulty making life decisions?
• Do you fear uncertainties in the future?
• Do you feel you need to improve your relationships?
• Do you feel like everyone seems to have a master plan but you?
• Is there a lack of support in your life?
• Are you going through difficult times in life and need a helping hand?
• Do you have deadlines you can’t just deal with and you don’t know how to cope?
Answering yes to any of the above questions doesn’t mean you need therapy, but might suggest you could benefit from some life coaching.
Everyone, at some point in their life, will need someone to guide them to live a life they want and love. In a world full of adversity and uncertain futures, it’s always comforting to know that there’s someone out there, whether a friend, a therapist or a Life Coach to give us a helping hand.
Often we need someone to help us take the dreams we have in our heads and the visions of what we want to do next with our lives and do the work to make them a reality. I will be honored to be that person.
