Help your child, in Orlando, get back on track through teen counseling with strategies created specifically for children and adolescents.

The teenage years are often challenging for teens and their parents. Teenagers often have a lot on their plate trying to navigate their way through middle or high school, as well as managing social pressures, family expectations, and extracurricular activities, just to name a few. They may be feeling sad, angry, or overwhelmed by what’s been happening and need help sorting out their feelings, finding solutions to their problems, or just feeling better. That’s where the therapists at Life Skills Resource Group can help.

Our therapists will work to address the concerns of your adolescent, while helping the family to grow and heal. Teens grow through a variety of changes both physical and psychological during this time in their lives. As they struggle to resolve their psychological development, they need the love, support, and structure provided by their parents and guardians and often can benefit from having the support of a therapist who can offer a safe place to process their feelings without judgment.

At Life Skills Resource Group we have 6 therapists who are ready to work with your teen, including three, Amy V. SmithJessica Carmean, and Krista Bringley who have chosen to focus their extra training in working with children and teens.  All 5 of our counselors are highly trained and able to help with a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to:
